The edge of the green closest to the club house has been in a bad state and needing repair for a while. I’m pleased to report that today Bill, Renée and I completed a successful repair by removing some broken and rotten lengths of timber and replacing them with fresh lengths of treated 2×4, back filling with soil and seeding with fresh grass seed. The rest of the green had already been seeded, treated with top dressing and weed killer and so should be in an excellent state for the start of the season in May. The photos show in progress and finished.
