I regret that due to other commitments of band members the planned jazz for July 19th will no longer go ahead. Don’t despair there will be jazz in August and also a Surprise tribute act. Details to follow.

Sorry the jazz planned for tomorrow has been cancelled but sessions will continue in July with a special feature of all the tunes from the best selling jazz record of all time – Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue being played by the band.

We have one more Jazz Night in June and then 2 in July

I regret to inform you that the music night with Public Frequency plus support will be postponed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Once a new firm date has been agreed with the band and others it will be published here.

On May 31st we have our regular Jazz Jam Session. On Friday June 5th a Rock Night plus two support acts Then on Sundays 14th and 28th 2 more Jazz Jam Sessions

We’ve got DJ PJ coming along with twin decks, a fine sound system, lights to set the mood and some fantastic vinyl to spin. Feel free to make requests and BYO Vinyl if you choose. It’s going to be a great evening.

The edge of the green closest to the club house has been in a bad state and needing repair for a while. I’m pleased to report that today Bill, Renée and I completed a successful repair by removing some broken and rotten lengths of timber and replacing them with fresh Read more…
